Yippee Ki Yay..I’m eating at Three today!!

Live Action Quick Tips

Did you know….

Blending different cuts of meat to make a better burger is not new, according to Kenji López-Alt, managing culinary director of Serious Eats, Harlem, NY. But it is becoming more common and also something that many culinary professionals are using to create a name for themselves.

George Motz, author of “Hamburger America”, a state-by-state guide to some of the best burger eateries in the country, has taught a course on hamburgers at New York Univ. and Princeton, and consulted for many hamburger restaurants. He explains that the concept of blending different cuts of meat, or even different species, to make hamburger has been going on forever. “But no one really took note,” he says. “Only recently have Americans started taking the hamburger more seriously.”(foodbusinessnews.net)

It’s Saturday and I am excited to be able to enjoy the day and get this weekend started!

Usually I would try to go hiking or maybe indulging myself in a nice breakfast at home or at a restaurant; but today was an exciting day as my family and I auditioned for Family Feud.

We had a chance to play a few fake rounds with questions just like the show and also got a chance to be on a commercial for KCBW Channel 12. True live action living!

The location of the audition was really close to one of my favorite restaurants of all time so I made sure to bring my family to enjoy this breathtaking experience.

The Three Restaurant & Bar in San Mateo, Ca is hands down one of the best restaurants I have ever experienced in regards to 3 scrumptious masterpieces. The Fried Chicken Club Sandwich with lettuce, tomato, onion, bacon, cheddar cheese, avocado & smoked chili aïoli, The Fried Chicken Buttermilk Waffle Sandwich with applewood bacon, chipotle maple syrup  with your choice fresh fruit or potatoes, and The THREE Grind Burger with grinded (brisket, short rib & sirloin)  and lettuce tomato onion & secret sauce.

The Fried Chicken is crunchy and tender and by itself is a Statue of Liberty! The sauce that goes on the waffle sandwich is a sweet, sticky, spicy maple syrup that makes your taste buds jump up and down like a hot tamale and the burger.aaah the burger…My God!!

Eating a burger with just beef alone is a true understatement of a meal once you have had a burger with multiple types of protein grinded and molded together.

The juiciness and potency of the flavor of a grind burger is like comparing a 3rd grade art class drawing to a Picasso.

True bliss..True enlightenment..The truth will set you free!!

Every bite of this grind burger at Three is a delectable sensation in your palate. The juices burst into your mouth like biting into a bubblicious gum with the juicy filling in the middle. There is an eruption of flavor and it never gets old. You then realize you are at your last bite and as you wipe that drool in the inside corner of your mouth you look at what you have accomplished by sinking your teeth into this bold dish and you are proud. You smile and engulf that last bite and you are satisfied!! That’s live action eating!!

If you are in the San Mateo, Ca neighborhood I strongly suggest you go and try this restaurant out. You will not be disappointed!

Thanks for joining me on today’s adventure! I look forward to seeing you on the next one! Keep hope alive!

Eating is an enjoyable way of life.Live it..Learn it..Love it!
