I’ll Camp Overnight in a Horse’s Stable for a Juicy Burger at The Table!

Live Action Quick Tips

Did you know….

The hamburger might have remained on the seamier margins of American cuisine were it not for the vision of Edgar “Billy” Ingram and Walter Anderson, who opened their first White Castle restaurant in Kansas in 1921. Sheathed inside and out in gleaming porcelain and stainless steel, White Castle countered hamburger meat’s low reputation by becoming bastions of cleanliness, health and hygiene (Ingram even commissioned a medical school study to show the health benefits of hamburgers). His system, which included on-premise meat grinding, worked well, and was the inspiration for other national hamburger chains founded in the boom years after World War II: McDonald’s and In-N-Out Burger (both founded in 1948), Burger King (1954) and Wendy’s (1969).

Led by McDonald’s (and helped by the introduction abroad of U.S. hamburger culture by millions of members of the American armed services during World War II), the hamburger—and American-style franchised fast food—soon spread globally. By 2013 there were more than 18,000 McDonald’s restaurants worldwide.(history.com)

Get the burger!!

I’m sure everyone has a list of their favorite burgers..

From cheeseburgers, to bacon burgers, to mushroom burgers; any burger that touches my lips if it is cooked right just brings a tear of joy to my eyes!

However, there are some that down right just knock the ball out of the park and I must say that The Table restaurant in Willow Glen has done that job! Let’s talk about it!

If you have ever been to the downtown Willow Glen area in San Jose, Ca then you will know there are some hidden gems over there for fine dining, pubs and shopping galore.

It is a great place to take a walk, eat some ice cream or just have a drink and hang out.

While waiting for my fiance to come out from getting a spray tan for her Bachelorette party, I decided to Yelp this restaurant The Table I saw pulling in to downtown Willow Glen.

It caught my eye since it was right on the corner and I saw tons of smiling faces sitting on an outdoor porch area and it intrigued me to look further.

The Yelp reviews were very high, with tons of reviews, so I figured let’s do it. Plus my stomach is begging for food and my throat begging for that wonderful sizzle from some IPA drizzle.

We walk in and there are basically two areas of dining. There is the lounge area which gives you only the food selection from the lounge menu and then the more elegant dining area for the fine dining where you can order off of the dinner menu only.

I wanted a beer and something tasty to pair with that so what better than a burger, fries and an ice cold IPA.

Order complete!!

Upon seeing the plate arrive the first thing I bite into were the potato wedges. Steam burst into the air and in my mouth and there was a solid crunch combined with delicious flavor of saltiness and soft potatoes. I have to say that these were cooked perfectly!

Next was the unexpected sensation in every nerve in my palate with the bite of this masterpiece of hamburger perfection!

I bite into the burger and KAPOOOOOOOW!

The burger cooked to a perfect medium..Juices burst into my mouth and some drip on the plate as well. Wow!

There is aged white cheddar on the burger as well that gives this tanginess to the burger that causes fireworks in your mouth. Then combined with the pickles and grilled onions this burger was out of this world!

Bite after bite, moan after moan..I can’t stop myself..

Well seasoned, well dressed, super juicy, super tasty!!! Man this is good! Complete heaven on earth! Great job Table Restaurant! True live action eating!

If you have never been to The Table and you are in the San Jose, Ca area then I suggest you do! Get the burger! You will not be disappointed!

Thanks for joining me on today’s adventure! I look forward to seeing you on the next run! Keep hope alive!

Eating is an enjoyable way of life.Live it..Learn it..Love it!
