Southern California is one of the most beautiful places on earth.
You have Hollywood, the wonderful beaches of San Diego, the Gas Lamp district and one the best places for fish tacos I have ever had.
Let’s talk Tin Fish!!
So once a year my Mom, brothers and all of our families gather up together for a family trip.
This year was to enjoy the sunny skies of San Diego!
Outside of enjoying SeaWorld and the San Diego Zoo & Safari Park, which was outstanding by the way..
We enjoyed the GasLamp District which is filled with great bars and nice beaches. While on the beach we made sure to explore this magnificent beach side restaurant called Tin Fish.
My Aunt had recommended the restaurant to us stating the fish tacos were the best she’s had. Being that she is from Georgia, an area with breath taking recipes, that was strong statement for me. So we had to check it out..
We arrive and I order some clam chowder and an order of the fried fish tacos..
While hearing the splashes of the ocean and smelling the fresh moist air, they call my number and I grab the grub.
I can see the smoke coming from my chowder slowly gliding in the air and then enters my nostrils like a spirit entering in a human to consume their soul.
I feel hypnotized.. It smells so good.. I want it now!! I’m going in…

Succulent pieces of clam,potatoes and powerful flavor of the chowder hit my palate!!
Yum..I need more..

The flavor brightens my eyes like a job promotion. Makes me want to cry..
Now the tacos..

Flavor overload!!
The fish is seasoned perfectly with a flaky crunchy crust; fresh, meaty and tasty. Combined with the dressing and cole slaw, this is a masterpiece!
Man oh man.. I need another bite!!!
Shabaaaaaang!!

Nothing but true live action eating at it’s finest! Great job Tin Fish!
I must say, outside of Alaska, this is the best fish tacos I have ever had in the United States so far!
