Trump: Morocco recognizes Israel, US to back kingdom in land dispute

Definitely something significant here. Haven’t looked it up Biblically yet, but keep your eyes on this..

President Trump on Thursday announced that Morocco will be the fourth Arab country this year to recognize Israel as part of his administration’s diplomatic efforts.

In exchange for Morocco recognizing Israel, the US is recognizing Moroccan ownership of the Western Sahara, a formerly Spanish colony that has an Algerian-backed rebel movement.

“Another HISTORIC breakthrough today! Our two GREAT friends Israel and the Kingdom of Morocco have agreed to full diplomatic relations – a massive breakthrough for peace in the Middle East!” Trump tweeted.

He added: “Morocco recognized the United States in 1777.  It is thus fitting we recognize their sovereignty over the Western Sahara.”
