A CLARION NOTE FOR BELIEVERS IN CHRIST. Just as a soldier hears the bugle in the early morning, and springs up ready for the duty of the day, so may every servant of Christ, who hears these words, arise girded for service! The soldier, at the sound of the awakening call, must forsake the warmest couch, and turn out to take his place in the ranks. I would sound the trumpet today with hope for a similar result. Let the clarion note ring out shrill and clear, “Arise, and depart.”
