There is an understanding here that Edward Umling is speaking.. It is the understanding that we are Saved by ONE Name under Heaven and that is Jesus Christ.
The other understanding is that Jesus Christ is God. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God and became flesh and dwelt among us..
It is when we come to this understanding that the Holy Spirit falls upon us.. Knowing that God is One. Jesus is the Father, Jesus is the Son, Jesus is the Holy Spirit. We get Baptized through the Redemption Blood of Jesus on the cross.

Luke 23
42 And he was saying, “Jesus, remember me when You come into Your kingdom!”
The thief declared it was Jesus’ Kingdom, acknowledging that it was His to Give. He didn’t say when you get to your Father’s Kingdom..
We are Baptized by the Understanding of this Word, which is when the Holy Spirit comes upon us..It is this consecration by the Holy Spirit that we are saved.
Then from there as we grow in Christ, we keep our Name from being blotted out by repenting when we fall short, carrying our cross daily by obedience to the Spirit.
We fall sometimes, we simply bring the sacrifice (Jesus) back to the Father as many times as we need it, so He will forgive it and wash it clean.
This teaching is important because many religious groups (Catholics) for example baptize in the Name of the Father, Son and the Holy Ghost.
Yet they still use an intercessor for people to bring their issues, they pray to Mary and worship the other Disciples as Holier than us and are not using or demonstrating the Sanctified Work of Jesus on the Cross.
Therefore, they are not Baptized in the Name of Jesus. They are standing in a false understanding or doctrine..
If I were to Baptize a Catholic, I would be sure to state I am Baptizing you in the Name of Jesus Christ..
The words mean nothing..It is the understanding of who Jesus is and what He did that gives us the Holy Spirit.
When Jesus extracts His Bride, it is the Holy Spirit He is calling back, those that have it will leave, everyone else will be left behind.
Please repent, carry your cross daily and accept the free gift of Jesus Christ’s death on the cross for payment for your sins.
