Putin has just used deadly hypersonic missiles for first time ever as Ukraine war takes a dark turn
This is the first time Moscow has used a MiG-31K with the Kh-47M2 Kinzhal 10 km Mach 10,000 supersonic missile in Ukraine and especially in the west, on the border with Poland.
In more detail, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced today that Kh-47M2 Kinzhal supersonic missiles (nicknamed “dagger”) were used to destroy an underground depot of missiles and ammunition for aircraft in western Ukraine.
The ultrasonic Kinzhal reportedly destroyed a large underground depot of Ukrainian missiles and air ammunition in Delyatyn in the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
He also said that radio communication equipment and reconnaissance centers near the port of Odessa were destroyed, according to the Russian news agency Interfax.
Ultrasonic missiles, with a design that allows them to perform complex maneuvers throughout the flight and reach speeds of up to 10 Mach, are now impossible to shoot down by any air defense system, at least according to Moscow.

The Greek for sword is machaira and it’s also called a slaughter-knife. It’s a short sword or dagger used for stabbing.
But how could a dagger or short sword be great? It doesn’t really make any sense until Stan looked up the Russian word for sword.
It’s Kinzhal, the same name as their hypersonic missiles!
