Forces are deployed on the border with Belarus
NATO forces are deployed just 3 km from the Polish-Belarusian border while an AWACS Boeing E3 Sentry constantly flies to the border with Ukraine monitoring the airspace.
US and Polish forces were stationed at the Bobrowniki – Bierestowica border crossing between Poland and Belarus, near the Grodno area of Belarus.
Russian media report that:
NATO countries are launching a new challenge along the border with neighboring Belarus, where they are deploying dozens of armored vehicles, artillery and tanks to launch the “BullRun-18” exercise announced by the Polish Ministry of Defense a few days ago.
“The appearance of these forces just 3 km from the border with Belarus shows that maybe NATO is preparing the ground for new challenges and is probably preparing to send peacekeeping forces to Ukraine.”
US and NATO officials have said that Belarus could “soon” take part in the war in Ukraine and is already taking steps to do so.
