Russia recently sent a message to the West and NATO as it published a report revealing what has been heard for days, that a number of NATO Officers from member countries have been trapped in Mariupol.
Russia obviously wants to use the prisoners as a bargaining chip with NATO.
In the interview, which you can see below, the Russian Officer emphasizes:
“They speak English – They are from 4 countries”
“The distance between the buildings is 50-70 meters, some are even closer. The enemy resists but we push them to the Azovstal factory.
We have heard them speak English…
They are either volunteers or NATO officers. However, they are professionals. They operate in small groups.
It would be impossible to train Ukrainians at such a level even in 8 years. “We have seen many foreigners, even dark ones.”
The RT reporter notes with emphasis:
Officers from NATO countries, namely France, Germany, Britain and even “neutral” Sweden, have been trapped in Mariupol after the collapse of their lines of defense.
They are trying to negotiate with Russian forces for an evacuation corridor.

36th Marine Brigade: “We are dying late”
The 36th Ukrainian Marine Brigade issued a statement to the Ukrainian nation, stressing that “a last battle” is coming to Mariupol.
The announcement states the following:
“Today will probably be the last battle, because our ammunition is running out. “Θα It will mean death for some of us and captivity for others,” the 36th Ukrainian Marine Brigade wrote on Facebook.
“We are dying late,” the statement added.
“We do not know what will happen, but we truly ask you to remember us with a good word,” the Brigade asked the Ukrainians.
