My Yoke is Easy and My Burden is Light.. What happened to the Narrow Path? Let’s take a look…

While listening to a Christian Song, hearing them say over and over again, His Yoke is Easy and His Burden is Light, I sang with the Song, but my spirit convicted me saying, “I don’t know why people keep saying that, it sure isn’t that easy to me.. I fight this World, Flesh, Temptation, Thoughts, Demonic Influence every day and satan surely isn’t letting up..”

“Am I walking wrong or is this another misinterpreted Scripture taught by the Lukewarm Church?”

However, my spirit still felt the grievance of the Spirit..

I began to make excuses, saying, “Well Lord compared to satan Your Yoke is definitely more easy and more light, so the Bible should be correct. Yeah Lord, Your Yoke is Easy when you think of it that way… They are saying this correctly….maybe..maybe not Lord.. I don’t think this is right..You are not a liar Lord.. This seems untrue though..” Hmmm..Hmmmm..hmmm..

The Spirit then convicted me and spoke and said, “Trev, you know better than this. Never assume something is True, even if it pertains to Me, I Am not a Man that I should lie. I tell you to Test the spirits because if it is me, then it will verify as Truth. Go look it up.”

So I opened up the Concordance and sure enough this Scripture in Greek aligns to the Narrow Path as I suspected and not the Wide, Lukewarm Path taught in the Church.

This is why studying in the Greek, Aramaic and Hebrew are so important because even the King James and other translations are inaccurate at times.

28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

So now if we put all this together, the beginning of Verse 30 reads..

30 For my yoke gives you a Job ( In the Vineyard), that is useful in Morality to furnish what you need by touching you lightly by implication resembling a storm.

Now let’s take a look at Burden is Light..

Affinity Definition– a similarity of characteristics suggesting a relationship, especially a resemblance in structure between animals, plants, or languages

The idea of the daemon comes from the beliefs of the Ancient Greeks. To them, a daemon was a spiritual being falling somewhere between a god and a human, or the ghost of a fallen hero. Daemons are good or helpful spirits. The idea of the daemon has survived today as a sort of guardian angel or an inner driving force.
