The Middle East is entering a new phase of war as during yesterday’s Israeli airstrikes on Gaza, Hamas forces retaliated for the first time with anti-aircraft fire from Russian MANPDADS 9K32 Strela-2.
The news is confirmed by both Israeli military sources and Hamas itself, which stressed that “Israeli helicopters and fighters that will now fly within the range of Strela-2 will face unpleasant surprises.”
They activated the Defense Assistance agreement
This shows that the axis that supports the Palestinians, Russia-Turkey-Iran, has begun to equip Hamas and other extremist Palestinian organizations with anti-aircraft and future anti-tank weapons.
The war is now being carried inside Israel, which will force it to carry out ground operations to locate and destroy arms shipments.
