The Chinese Defense Minister personally sent repeated threats and an ultimatum of non-involvement of the United States to his American counterpart Lloyd Austin on the issue of Taiwan.
The Chinese Defense Minister stressed in essence to his American counterpart that the PLA (People’s Liberation Army of China) will invade Taiwan and demanded that the US not get involved.
This is exactly the meaning of his statements. The only thing we do not know anymore is when the invasion will take place.

“The United States should not underestimate China’s determination and capability,” Chinese State Adviser and Secretary of Defense Wei Fenghe said Wednesday during a rare telephone conversation with US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin.
“Taiwan is part of China and no one can change that,” said Chinese Defense Minister Wei Fenghe.
“If the Taiwan issue is not addressed properly, it will have a devastating impact on Sino-US relations, ” Wei added.
The Chinese official also said that Taiwan is “an inalienable part of China”, adding that “it is a fact and a status quo that no one could change.”
