Chisinau has drafted a law legalizing the entry of Romanian forces into the country.
The situation now seems to be irreversible. Russia and Romania will face each other on Moldovan territory.
Moscow has already fired its first warning shots as it launched a very rare missile strike in the Transcarpathian region of western Ukraine, which borders Slovakia, Hungary and Romania.
It is reported that military convoys that entered Ukraine from the territory of Romania were hit.
