V. Zelensky’s advisor, Aleksey Arestovich, emphasized that “Russia has found the key to air defense and can pound Ukraine every day with kamikaze UAVs for several months.”
“They have found the key to our air defense, which is to force us to throw our entire inventory of anti-aircraft missiles into the drone battle. The first batch of UAVs was 300, the second batch was much, much more. Only 2,400 pieces,” he said.
“At this rate, even 100 a day, we have a month of active raids, ” Arestovich said.
Israeli television channel Kan News reported:
“If the number of Shahed-136 drone attacks increases, no air defense system in the world will help Kyiv and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Experts and journalists of the Israeli TV channel Kan News emphasized that, given the current number of raids by Shahed-136 drones, the capabilities of Ukrainian air defense systems are at the limit, however, in case of an increase in the number of raids, no one will be able to help the Ukrainian army, even the most advanced air defense system.
The current mass raids simply overload Ukraine’s air defense system, preventing the latter from effectively countering drones. If the number of raids increases, then Kyiv will have really serious problems.”
These analyzes by the Israelis probably show that it is pointless to send Israeli anti-aircraft systems to Ukraine as requested by Kyiv. And they will not offer and may fall into the hands of the Iranians.
