It is the second time in 48 hours that Poland has received direct threats of war. And this time, like the first, the threats against Warsaw were broadcast live on Russian state television.
Lukashenko emphasized that the “source of all evil is the Polish city of Rzeszow, and the Wagnerites know this well.”

Russian President Vladimir Putin told his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko that the Ukrainian counter-offensive launched in early June to push Russian forces out of Ukraine had “failed”, Russian news agencies reported.
“There is no counterattack,” Lukashenko said, according to the state-run TASS news agency, with Putin interrupting him to say: “There is one but it failed.”
Lukashenko told Putin that he was “holding” Wagner in the center of Belarus.
“Maybe I shouldn’t say this, but I will. Wagner’s fighters began to trouble us:
“They want to go to the West. Leave us.”

The Belarusian head of state added that aggressive Poland wants to tear off parts of Western Ukraine and Western Belarus to annex them.
“Rzeszow is the source of all suffering.
The Wagnerites fought near Artemovsk (Bakhmut) and know where the military equipment came from, and they have this in: Rzeszow is a disaster.
Lukashenko: “Consider the request for support in Western Ukraine”
During the meeting between the leaders of Russia and Belarus, among other things, the possible entry of forces into the territory of the western regions of Ukraine in case of a threat of their occupation by Poland was discussed.
Lukashenko stressed that the plans of the Polish authorities to dismember Ukraine and seize the western part are unacceptable for Belarus.
“In the event that Poland annexes the western regions of Ukraine, the western territories of Belarus will be surrounded on all sides by unfriendly countries, and this option does not meet the interests of the entire state of the Union.
If the people of Western Ukraine ask for help to resist the Polish occupation, Belarus is ready to fulfill their request.
I ask you, B. Putin, to consider this request, the terms of support in Western Ukraine” A. Lukashenko concluded.
Putin had made similar statements on Friday, saying Poland has “plans for revenge” and wants to seize territory in western Ukraine. Warsaw reacted by summoning the Russian ambassador to Poland, calling Putin’s remarks “provocative”.
After their meeting, Putin and Lukashenko greeted people in Kronstadt, a city on an island opposite St. Petersburg, taking photos with attendees in the square in front of the cathedral.
