The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) issued a warning to Hezbollah after the fighting that took place yesterday, Sunday 15.10.2023, on the border with Lebanon.
“If Hezbollah tries to test us, the response will be deadly,” said the IDF spokesman, in the regular announcement of the citizens.
It is recalled that yesterday an Israeli civilian was killed and many were injured in Stula, northern Israel, from a rocket attack for which Hezbollah claimed responsibility.
The Israeli military responded by striking Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon and closing a four-kilometer radius of the border zone to civilians.
Hezbollah claimed responsibility in a statement for a new attack in the Hanita area of northern Israel with guided missiles, saying it caused casualties among “enemy ranks.”
Because of this Hezbollah attack, the IDF activated a plan to evacuate the residents of 28 villages located up to two kilometers away along its northern border with Lebanon.
The IDF spokesman also urged Gazans to move south of the Strip and accused Hamas of blocking their passage.
