A domino of developments is coming in the Middle East as Jordan recalled its ambassador from Israel and advised the Israeli ambassador to leave while other states in the region are expected to do the same.
At the same time, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdullahian went to Ankara and met with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and RT Erdogan.

Iran-Turkey Coalition Against Israel-USA – Statements…
The head of Turkish and Iranian diplomacy Hakan Fidan and Hossein Amir Abdullahian today asked Ankara to convene an international conference to avoid regional conflict in the Middle East as soon as possible.
“The Iranian president proposed a conference with local leaders, Muslim and Arab countries as soon as possible to end the war” in Gaza, the Iranian foreign minister said during a joint press conference with his Turkish ministerial counterpart in Ankara.
“The countries of the region must assume their responsibilities. Otherwise, this cycle of violence will continue in the region,” Hakan Fidan said for his part.
“We do not want the human tragedy of Gaza to turn into a conflict that will affect the countries of the region,” he continued, expressing his “concern”.
“We are concerned about the geographical spread of the conflict. We have discussed this with our Iranian brother, (according to whom) there are strong indications that other armed elements in the region could also intervene in the conflict if the conditions do not change, Hakan Fidan insisted .
For his part, the Iranian foreign minister warned that if the attacks on the Gaza Strip continue, the consequences will be severe.
“If there is no immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and if the attacks by the US and the Zionist regime continue, then the consequences will be severe,” he said, without giving details of Tehran’s plans.
Amir Abdollahian said that a visit by Iranian President Ibrahim Raishi to Turkey very soon is on the agenda.

Turkey’s proposal for a new security mechanism in the Middle East – Except the USA
“We see that it is necessary to create a new security mechanism in cooperation with the actors in the region ,” Erdogan said on Tuesday.
“We are ready to take responsibility if this step is taken.”
Turkish officials worry that a wider, regional conflict could involve Lebanon, notably Hezbollah, Iran, and its proxies in Syria and Iraq, as well as Yemen’s Houthis.
Turkish efforts have focused on trying to reach a ceasefire agreement to prevent such an escalation, but some in Ankara believe that Israel and the US do not fully understand what is at stake.
A regional escalation would not fall under the purview of NATO or the United Nations, so Ankara believes there is a great need to create a mechanism to regulate tensions in the Middle East.
Nuh Yilmaz, chief adviser to Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, said during an event last Friday that Ankara’s years-long efforts to revive relations with Israel were undone when the latest round of hostilities began.
Yilmaz added that the conflict disrupts solutions to international energy needs as well as trade corridor projects.
“We decided it would be better to approach this problem from a more structural perspective, as any solution to any problem in the region could be overturned by a conflict,” he said.
“We need a permanent solution in the region. We are looking at what kind of mechanism can work for this permanent solution.”
Jordan “immediately” recalls its ambassador to Israel
Jordan decided today to recall its ambassador to Israel “immediately” in protest of the Israeli military attack on the Gaza Strip, which was decided after the bloody attack carried out in Israel by the Palestinian Hamas on October 7.
“Today (Wednesday), Foreign Minister Ayman Al-Safadi decided to immediately recall the Jordanian ambassador to Israel,” the foreign ministry in Amman announced, saying it “condemns the Israeli war that is killing innocents in Gaza.”
At the same time, Jordan asked the Israeli ambassador to leave the country and return only if Israel stops the war in Gaza.
